My Attempt at Making Rolled Donkeys (驴打滚)
Attempted making this Beijing staple! Definitely not as easy as it looks. The most difficult part was trying to mold the dough. It's both mentally and physically tasking trying to find the perfect balance between too stiff of a dough versus undercooked dough.
Final consistency wasn't as "qu" as it could have been, but still pretty good! Filling and coating in particular was delish! I'll keep working at this recipe!
